Healing As A Mission of His Love,
Rev. Dr. John Adetunji
Healing is part of God’s nature and part of the Church’s mission. In Jesus’ ministry, preaching the Kingdom and healing the sick always went together, showing that God cares about the whole person-body, mind, and spirit.
The sermon teaches that healing reveals who God is, confirms the power of the gospel, and is entrusted to every believer. Biblical examples like Jesus healing the multitudes, Peter and John healing the lame man in Acts 3, and the mission command in Matthew 10:8 all show that healing is not optional; it is central to Christian witness.
The message also reminds us that healing is more than a miracle; it is love and compassion in action, whether through prayer, encouragement, service, or practical help. Every act of healing points people toward the coming Kingdom of God, where there will be no more pain or tears. The call is simple: receive God’s healing, believe in His power, and become a channel of healing to others.
The Rev’d Dr. John Adetunji is a board member of OSL. He was ordained as pastor of the United Missionary Church of Africa on August 6, 1986, in Nigeria. He emigrated to Canada with his family and pastored a Mennonite Church in Manitoba during which time he was introduced to OSL and later became the coordinator of four OSL communities in Winnipeg. Rev’d John came to Florida in 2013. He serves as Co-Chaplain of the Healing Hearts and Healing Hands Community and features regularly as preacher and intercessor at the bi-monthly Healing Hearts and Healing Hands community healing services. He travels frequently internationally for missions where divine healings has been the vehicle of evangelism.

Hearts That Matter Much,
Lay Pastor Gerry Gardner
Each and every child deserves to be heard …from the heart. Given time and opportunity to share with someone, many children will eagerly express their desires and feelings. Yet, when there have been past hurts, fears, or confusing events in their lives, children may need encouragement that is directed and creative before they open their hearts for healing. The ministry of Hearts That Matter Much is about bringing children and youth to the healing love of Jesus Christ through hands-on, heart-launching activities that lead into healing prayer.
In this session, Gerry Gardner, will explore the challenges and excitement of praying with children and youth, while involving parents to encourage a life-style of inner healing for the whole family. Those who attend this session will broaden their understanding of inner healing prayer while engaging, as a group interactively, in the heart-launching activities and Holy Spirit-led prayer. The Hearts That Matter Much training manual will be available for purchase.

His Love Poured Out,
Rev. Sarah Bronos
“God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us” (Romans 5:5).
There are competing narratives for the story in which we live. Our enemy seeks to make us believe a false story but we are, in fact, living in a love story. Created in love, by love, for love and to show forth the love that heals through life laid down. How might we so fully live into our real story that the healing love of the self-giving Lord naturally flows from us in his world? “We love because he first loved us” (1 John 4:19).
The Rev. Sarah Bronos is the Director of Online Healing Ministries for OSL, Chair of the Finance Committee and Vice President of the Board of Directors and a conference and retreat speaker. Sarah is an Episcopal priest in the Diocese of Central Florida, currently serving as Retired Associate for Spiritual Formation and the Healing Ministry at Church of the Ascension in Orlando. She is also Co-Chaplain of the local OSL Healing Hearts & Healing Hands Community.
